In X4, four players on the same team build a presentation together. Teams are assessed under the sporting rules; each edition’s regulations define participation and progression.

A timed presentation is called a Set. Its score considers passes, connected actions and infractions. Keeping the ball airborne matters, but does not explain the result on its own.
All four play on the same team, rather than two against two. Other teams give their own presentations; their results determine placement under the competition regulations.
