COPA_2026_V1_3
Participation and registration
Competition location: Agadir / Taghazout, Morocco. Event dates: 19 November arrival/check-in; 20 November activities; 21 November X4 competition and Beach BBQ; 22 November (Sunday) Beach Day, followed by check-out.
There are 12 team places: ten open places and two invited Morocco teams exempt from payment. Each team comprises four Players, is Mixed (3 × 1 or 2 × 2), has a Captain and satisfies the 18+ requirement. A Club may enter more than one Squad. Each Squad has its own name, four Players and one Captain chosen among them; a Player may belong to only one Club and to only one Squad in this edition. A Squad name must be unique and may not be the name of a registered Club. Squad, Entry and the versioned EntryRoster are distinct records. Captain authority is Entry-contextual and does not include score validation or qualification decisions.
The request window runs from 8 October until 10 November 2026 at 23:59, Agadir time (Africa/Casablanca). Payment and permitted roster changes share that deadline. The confirmed list is published on 11 November. Requests may exceed capacity. The first ten teams that pay and receive confirmation through the site receive the open places; submitting a request alone does not reserve a place. Entry confirmation also requires the applicable legitimate identity, roster, Regulation acceptance, financial condition/exemption and allocation.
The participation price is €150 per player for every team, regardless of base country. The two invited Moroccan teams are exempt. The four-player team reference is €600. Internal authorized staff confirm payment through the site. Payment status and team-place allocation are separate. General no-refund condition is preserved, with the approved exception for payment without an allocated place; operational instructions and applicable commercial terms must be attached before payment is requested.
Progressive Qualification
| Phase | Participants | Ball-in-Air / operational slot | Official progression |
|---|---|---|---|
| Round 1 | 12 teams | 3 minutes / 7 minutes | Top three qualify to Top 9 |
| Round 2 | Nine remaining | 3 minutes / 7 minutes | Top three qualify to Top 9 |
| Round 3 | Six remaining | 3 minutes / 7 minutes | Top three complete Top 9 |
| Lunch/reset | After Round 3 | Published schedule | No additional sporting phase |
| Round 4 | Top 9 | 4 minutes / 8 minutes | Top two to Final; positions 3-7 to Last Chance; 8-9 eliminated |
| Round 5 - Last Chance | Five teams | 3 minutes / 8 minutes | Top one to Final |
| Final | Three finalists, two Sets each | 5 minutes / 10 minutes per Set | Best valid Presentation counts; A1/B1/C1/A2/B2/C2 |
Each Set has the corresponding Ball-in-Air limit plus one minute of Total Time. The regular structure contains 47 Presentations. One court, one day, maximum regular operational window 10:00-17:30. Schedule publication is authoritative; operational slots are not Set durations. Exceptional tiebreak Presentations are additional to the regular count and require a real schedule update.
Official results, ties and exceptional replacement
Regular comparison uses official final score, then lower total sporting penalties, then higher team production excluding penalties and Flow (G+C), as approved. A tie still affecting a place or title triggers one exceptional tiebreak Round among the relevant eligible tied teams. Each has one Presentation using the originating Ball-in-Air duration and Total +1 minute. The tiebreak compares its official score, then lower penalties, then higher official Flow. No second tiebreak Round or invented fourth criterion is introduced.
Official Result and Round Outcome are separate. Qualification is published by the Competition Engine after the required official phase results and governed decisions; an athlete view does not calculate qualification. Final best-Presentation selection is not an average or sum. NO CONTEST is a conclusion without automatic disqualification; eligibility and outcome follow the actual context.
When the approved serious-injury withdrawal releases a previously earned place, the next eligible, not already qualified team in the official originating classification receives it. Replacement is permitted only before the destination phase's first actual start. Published draw or schedule alone is not that start. Origin scores/positions remain historical. The Round 4 replacement cascade checks the Final and Last Chance separately, without duplicate allocation or comparison of scores from different Rounds. If there is no eligible replacement, the absence is explicit and governed; no result or champion is fabricated.
Post-validation changes are restricted to internal CENTRAL authorization, with the actual resource, reason, revision and impact recorded. HJ/Operator cannot change a validated Presentation by their SCORE roles. Review, correction and publication preserve history; DATA recalculation alone does not reopen an official result.
Release and acceptance
The official Rulebook and Regulations, payment instructions, confirmed schedule and participant logistics are made available through the official site. Any material change requiring renewed acceptance must be clearly presented to participants. Acceptance by the Captain and Players records the applicable version, team entry and timestamp.
Package and responsibilities
The package includes three nights of accommodation, four days of rental car, competition entry, two invitations to official events, two days of guided activities, the official tournament jersey and digital access. The official jersey is the only supplied uniform item; shorts are not included. Accommodation is for up to four people per Team. No driver is supplied: each Team must designate exactly one of its own members as driver. A camel ride is not part of the programme.
Flights, general meals, fuel, insurance, deposits and airport transfers are not included without express confirmation in the applicable terms. Meeting points, times and individual accommodation/transport information will be communicated to confirmed Teams. Do not transfer money without official instructions linked to your own entry. Request, payment and place allocation are distinct states.
Documents and acceptance
This Regulation identifies the Copa edition and references the applicable X4 Rulebook version. Acceptance records actor, Team, version, text integrity and timestamp. A material change requiring new acceptance must be presented as a Required Action; do not silently replace accepted text. Published translations must correspond to the same official version.
