Start with 2,000 of valid technical production. This total summarises eligible passes; it is not a touch count.
Illustrative example with fictional values. Not an official calculator or a real result.
One pass, step by step
For an eligible category 2 pass: base 10 × GREEN Execution 1.5 × Repetition 75% on the fourth applicable use = 11.25. Execution belongs to the pass producer; the repetition counter considers player, movement, side and category within the sequence.
Execution classifies pass quality: RED, YELLOW and GREEN consider the movement required of the receiver. GOLD requires an extraordinary pass after a difficult situation. These controls compare hypothetical cases; actual classification depends on the observed pass.
Technical pass value
11.25
10 × 1.5 × 75%
An eligible pass example, not a complete result. GOLD requires the extraordinary situation defined in the rule; it is not a freely chosen bonus. Drop and Hand are not RED.
The counter considers player, movement, side and category. Fourth and fifth uses apply 75%; sixth and later uses, 50%. Drop resets repetition counters.
When P1 produces a pass to P2, that pass’s Execution belongs to P1. The movement required of P2 helps classify it; ownership does not shift to the receiver.
